Welcome to the Child and Parent Centre – Mount Lockyer.
Our centre provides support services for families with children up to eight years of age. We have a range of programs that we run each week along with services for you and your family to access including a Child Health Clinic and Allied Health Services which provides dietician, speech therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Health Therapy.
Programs on offer during the week at our centre include:
Mondays, 9.30am to 11.30am
A fun way to introduce your child to language. Supported by Albany Public Library. Please bring a piece of fruit.

Thursdays, 9.30am to 11.00am at Yakamia Primary School
Moving games that develop muscle strength and gross motor skills. Followed by a craft activity. Please a piece of fruit.
Bookings are essential.

Wednesdays, 9.00am to 11.00am or 1.00pm to 2.30pm

Lift Off To Learn
Thursdays, 9.30am to 11.30am
Learn through play as preparation for Kindy for Aboriginal families with young children.
Kaart Boodja Coolinga
Thursdays, 11.30am to 2.00pm
A time for Aboriginal families to meet, yarn and share food together.
Chill ‘n’ Chat
Fridays, 9.30am to 11.30am
Opportunity for parents with babies and young toddlers to get together. Please bring a piece of fruit.
The Child and Parent Centre – Mount Lockyer is managed by Wanslea. The Centre is located below the host school Mount Lockyer Primary School and supports the surrounding schools Yakamia Primary School, Spencer Park Primary School, John Calvin School, Parklands School, Bethel Christian School.
