SENSORY SEEKERS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Created for curious little people who love to move, touch, splash, squish and discover. This is a space for you and your child <\/strong>to explore together. Jump in, get messy, meet other families and watch your child’s sense of wonder come alive through shared play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a targeted group focusing on parent and child interaction, non-mobile babies welcome.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A support group for parents who have children with complex needs. MyTime <\/a>is a group where you can relax, unwind, share ideas and experiences with others who understand. Play activities are provided for your child during this session.

Book in for a free <\/strong>casual consultation with Speech Pathologist Calanthe
to discuss your child’s language development.
Use this 30-minute<\/strong> session to discuss any concerns you may have:
\u2022 Should I be worried if my child stutters or speaks very little?
\u2022 How can I support my child to speak using their first language and English?
\u2022 Does my child need speech therapy?
\u2022 How can I get a referral for speech pathology services?

TripleP: Stepping Stones – Positive Parenting for Children with Disability <\/mark><\/strong>2-12 years <\/mark> <\/strong><\/em>

Parents of children with a developmental disability are given ways to deal with the kinds of childhood behaviour problems and issues that can make family life stressful.
<\/em>TripleP: Fear Less – Supporting Children with Anxiety <\/mark><\/strong>6-14 years<\/em>

Everyone feels anxious at times, even children and teenagers, but anxiety may cause distress and get in the way of life. This seminar will help parents to understand how anxiety works, how to manage your child’s anxiety effectively and teach new coping skills.

Learn strategies to help you encourage your toddler to eat with a spoon, sit at a table with others and eat a variety of foods.

Digital devices like phones, tablets, games and TV are part of everyday family life in most homes and can be part of a healthy lifestyle. This presentation gives some suggestions to help you establish healthy screen time habits and routines, and deal with any conflict over screen time.
<\/em>Making &<\/strong> Keeping Friends <\/strong><\/mark>10-16 years<\/em>
Tuesday 26 May, 7pm – 9pm<\/strong>
Learn how to support your child to make friends, encourage positive relationships with peers, set appropriate boundaries and deal with challenges arising.
<\/em>Developing Good Bedtime Routines for Toddlers – Lunch & Learn <\/mark>
<\/strong>Friday 5 June, 12pm – 1pm<\/strong>
This session explores different problems parents commonly face at bedtime and some of the reasons why they happen. The skills children need to get into a good bedtime routine are discussed and parents are introduced to positive parenting strategies to help prevent problems by encouraging children to stay in their own bed throughout the night.
