Welcome to the Child and Parent Centre \u2013 Fitzroy Valley.<\/p>\n
Our centre offers a range of established and new programs for families and children up to the age of eight years.<\/p>\n
Every Tuesday we run our Mums and Bubs playgroup in conjunction with the Mobile Kindy. Our playgroup is a great way to have fun playing with your child, to meet other parents and get parenting support.<\/p>\n
KindiLink runs \u2018play and learn sessions\u2019 every Wednesday morning. This new initiative is for families with three year old children and helps them develop skills that will support their transition to school.<\/p>\n
On Thursday mornings we run another Mums and Bubs playgroup. The Mums and Bubs groups are supported by Nindilingarri and hosted by the Child and Parent Centre.<\/p>\n
For parents and children who don\u2019t have their own transport, we can arrange for a centre bus to collect your family.<\/p>\n
Paediatric consultations continue to be held in the centre as do ancillary health programs such as speech therapy, ophthalmology, orthopaedic and Ear Nose and Throat services.<\/p>\n
Families can also visit our op shop which has good quality, inexpensive clothes and toys.<\/p>\n
The Child and Parent Centre \u2013 Fitzroy Valley is managed by Marninwarntikura Women\u2019s Resource Centre in partnership with Fitzroy Valley District High School.<\/p>\n
