{"id":5,"date":"2015-09-03T01:02:46","date_gmt":"2015-09-03T01:02:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/childandparentcentres.wa.edu.au\/cpc-multisite\/roseworth\/about\/"},"modified":"2026-08-14T10:15:21","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T02:15:21","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/childandparentcentres.wa.edu.au\/westfield-park\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the Child and Parent Centre \u2013 Westfield Park.<\/p>\n<p>The Child and Parent Centre Westfield Park (CPC), in partnership with Parkerville Children and Youth Care, provides a welcoming and supportive place for families with children from pre-birth to 8 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>Located at Westfield Park Primary School, our qualified and caring team offers a range of FREE programs, services, and support designed to help children thrive and families feel connected, confident, and supported.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>FREE playgroups and early learning programs for children and their parents\/carers<\/li>\n<li>Early Parenting Groups facilitated by Child Health Nurses<\/li>\n<li>Child health checks and referrals<\/li>\n<li>Parenting information, workshops, and programs<\/li>\n<li>Fathering support services<\/li>\n<li>Mental health, disability, and counselling services<\/li>\n<li>Allied health services, including speech pathology<\/li>\n<li>TAFE, training, employment advice, and support services<\/li>\n<li>Information sessions to support children&#8217;s physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most activities are held at the Child and Parent Centre, with some programs delivered in community locations to make them as accessible as possible for families.<\/p>\n<p>Our services are shaped by the needs of local families and informed by feedback from parents, schools, and the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are expecting your first child, looking for a playgroup, seeking support, or simply wanting to connect with other families, we are here to help.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, please contact us using the details below or drop in and visit us.
