Carey Park Little Toy Library
Child and Parent Centre Carey Park is thrilled to partner with Toy Libraries Australia to launch Western Australia’s first micro toy library!
Carey Park Little Toy Library works just like a traditional library, but instead of borrowing books, families can borrow a range of high-quality, developmentally appropriate toys at no cost.
How it Works
Once registered as a member, families can:
- Browse available toys online
- Reserve toys through our Click & Collect service
- Borrow toys for 14 days
- Request a 7-day extension for toys that are still being enjoyed (subject to availability)
Collecting Your Toys
Reserved toys can be collected:
- Fridays between 8:00am and 3:30pm, or
- At an alternative time by arrangement with Centre staff.
Become a Member
Families attending Child and Parent Centre Carey Park are welcome to join the toy library. Simply speak with a staff member to complete a membership form.

Come along to our Carey Park Little Toy Library Launch Day to explore the collection, learn how the toy library works, and sign up for membership.

Toy reservations open from Wednesday 7 October, with the first collections available from Friday 9 October.
Looking After Our Toys
We ask that all toys are returned clean and in good condition so they can be enjoyed by other families. We understand that accidents happen and that pieces can occasionally go missing. If something is damaged or lost, please let us know so we can keep our collection safe, complete, and ready for play.
