Our parenting workshops offer a supportive space to explore the how’s, what’s, and why’s of raising children. Led by experienced, compassionate professionals, these sessions are designed to empower you with practical tools and insights—helping you parent with confidence and in line with your values.


Circle of Security Parenting (8 sessions)

Starts Tuesday 5 May | 12:30pm to 2:30pm @ Child and Parent Centre Carey Park | Creche provided

This program focuses on supporting and strengthening parent-child relationships. It teaches new ways to understand and respond to your child’s needs, support their ability to manage emotions, enhance their self-esteem, and honour your innate wisdom and desire for your child to feel secure. Recommended for parents of children from 6 months to 5 years.

This program will be facilitated by Ruth and Meg from WA Country Health Service. We acknowledge Parenting Connection WA for their funding support of this program.

Bringing Up Great Kids: Parenting after Family Violence (7 sessions)

Starts Friday 15 May | 10:00am to 12:00pm @ Child and Parent Centre Carey Park | Creche provided

This program offers a supportive and safe space for parents to connect, learn, and begin healing from the impacts of family violence. Together, parents explore new ways to understand themselves and their children, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in their parenting journey.

This program will be facilitated by Deb (Parenting Ways) and Noumsy (Child Advocate in Family and Domestic Violence), creche provided by Child and Parent Centre Carey Park. We acknowledge Parenting Connection WA and Zonta for their funding support of this program.

Seen: The Film (A Parent TV Documentary)

You’re invited to a special in‑person screening of Seen: The Film — an inspiring documentary about how our childhood experiences shape the way we parent today.

Join us for an engaging, heartfelt viewing where real parents share honest stories, and leading experts Maggie Dent, Dr Billy Garvey, Dr Vanessa LaPointe and Lael Stone unpack the science of connection, healing and raising emotionally healthy kids. It’s powerful, relatable and full of hope.

This intimate event is limited to just 25 people, creating space for reflection, conversation and community connection.

Proudly supported by South West Women’s Health and Information Centre, Investing In Our Youth and Parenting Connection WA, making this screening free for local families.
